Learning outcomes of course unit | 1.Knowledge of the theoretical foundations of descriptive geometry. 2.Understanding the basic rules for representing three-dimensional objects on projection planes. 3.Knowledge of methods for solving positional and metric problems. 4.Understanding the basic principles of geometric constructions. 5.Knowledge of the fundamental provisions of the regulatory framework of Ukraine for creating design documentation. 6.Understanding of types of connections between parts, basic information about sketches and the process of sketching, requirements for working drawings of parts. 7.Knowledge of overall and conjugate dimensions, understanding the concepts of constructive, technological, and measuring bases. 8.Knowledge of rules for composing and arranging drawings of various typical details. 9.Knowledge of rules for designing schemes in accordance with the SCDU, coding, conditional graphic symbols for systems and ship equipment. 10.Application of theoretical principles of descriptive geometry to solve practical problems. 11.Ability to create and interpret design documentation. 12.Possession of graphic competency, the ability to read and execute drawings, solve various tasks using the methods of descriptive geometry and engineering graphics. |
