- be able to tell about your daily functions on the ship, about your stations and duties in various ship drills at the inspector’s request or order;

- understand correctly instructions and orders of the persons responsible for engineering crew assignment to daily and overtime work;

- ask about duties, tasks, safety techniques, mechanisms and systems maintenance, etc.
