Learning outcomes of course unit

Knowledge of: general principles and prerequisites for the emergence of philosophy, its historical dynamics, and modern status; conceptual and categorical apparatus of philosophy, including general conclusions of its branches: axiology, philosophical anthropology, social philosophy, ontology, epistemology, philosophy of science, technology and artificial intelligence; positive and negative (sociocultural and ecological) consequences of the development and risks of the techno-technological model of society; methodological principles of forming a critical systemic philosophically oriented thinking style and conceptual approaches and principles of self-organization and professional self-improvement.

Skills and Abilities: use philosophical knowledge for a comprehensive analysis of the essence of phenomena and processes of human existence; construct one's own worldview position, taking into account the values of modern civilization; logically argue and consistently defend it based on mastering the methods of socio-humanitarian cognition; combine acquired systematic philosophical knowledge with processes of professional self-improvement and personal growth.

Philosophy: its subject matter, status, and purpose. Philosophical studies in historical retrospect. Axiology as a philosophical doctrine of values. Philosophical anthropology. Social philosophy. Methodology of social ontology analysis. Philosophical sense of the problem of being. Nature-Society-Human being as the collective subject matter of philosophical research. Logic and epistemology. Philosophical problems of artificial intelligence. Philosophical meaning and perspectives of globalism, antiglobalism, and regionalism.
