- Knowledge of the theoretical foundations of descriptive geometry.
- Understanding the basic rules for representing three-dimensional objects on projection planes.
- Knowledge of methods for solving positional and metric problems.
- Understanding the basic principles of geometric constructions.
- Knowledge of the fundamental provisions of the regulatory framework of Ukraine for creating design documentation.
- Understanding of types of connections between parts, basic information about sketches and the process of sketching, requirements for working drawings of parts.
- Knowledge of overall and conjugate dimensions, understanding the concepts of constructive, technological, and measuring bases.
- Knowledge of rules for composing and arranging drawings of various typical details.
- Knowledge of rules for designing schemes in accordance with the SCDU, coding, conditional graphic symbols for systems and ship equipment.
- Application of theoretical principles of descriptive geometry to solve practical problems.
- Ability to create and interpret design documentation.
- Ability to create views, sections, and cuts of details of any complexity level.
- Ability to sketch and create working drawings of machine and instrument parts from nature.
- Ability to create diagrams: pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and ship equipment, incorporating conditional graphic symbols.
- Possession of graphic competency, the ability to read and execute drawings, solve various tasks using the methods of descriptive geometry and engineering graphics.
