Learning outcomes of course unit
  • knowledge of basic concepts and laws of the theory of electric and magnetic circuits;
  • knowledge of methods of analysis and calculation of stable processes in linear electric circuits of constant, sinusoidal and periodic non-sinusoidal currents with concentrated parameters;
  • the ability to calculate the steady state in a non-linear electric and magnetic circuit by graphical, grapho-analytical or numerical methods;
  • knowledge of classical and operator methods for calculating transient processes in linear electric circuits with one or two energy storage devices;
  • knowledge of the peculiarities of energy and electromagnetic processes in electric circuits with linear and non-linear elements;
  • the ability to model the operation of electric circuits using modern information technologies;
  • the ability to use stationary and portable devices these devices, using them to carry out experimental studies, diagnostics and detect malfunctions in electrical circuits;
  • the ability to read, analyze, understand basic electrical diagrams, perform assembly of electrical diagrams according to their basic and assembly diagrams;
  • the ability to work independently with educational, methodological and reference literature in the field of electrical engineering and related disciplines.

Equipment (if applicable)    Special teaching and research laboratory stands STC-06.000 for the study of electrical circuits, analog ammeters, voltmeter, digital multimeters and oscilloscopes. Special software is used to simulate the operation of electric circuits.
