- structures and main layout options for sensors, devices and controllers in shipboard measurement systems;
- principles of construction, functions and examples of implementation of Aconis, Konsberg type SMS.
- the method of checking and detecting equipment breakdowns in the SMS and diagnostics;
- the main trends and prospects for the development of intellectual SMS;
- principles of operation of normalizing converters, capacitive, electromagnetic and strain gauges of flow, level and pressure in SMS.
- Skills:
- connect sensors to control devices
- to design ship systems for monitoring ship power plants units

- Classification and purpose of ship monitoring systems (SMS).
- Structure of centralized and distributed shipboard monitoring systems.
- Use of controllers and software products in SMS. Modern SCADA.
- Features of connection and adjustment of sensors of temperature, pressure, level in SMS.
- Features of connecting and configuring intelligent sensors in the SMS.
- Transmission and protection of information from interference. Algorithms for detecting and correcting errors in the communication channel.
- Intelligent measuring systems. Functions and network structure of intelligent SCM.
- Features of the work and functions of the K-Chief 700 (Kongsberg), ACONIS SMS. Peculiarities of operation of PRM-3 in SMS power plants.

Special software is used to simulate the operation of the SMS - Virtual Engine Room simulator programs. Laboratory with MICRORL type MIC 51 controller and Arduino - Uno PLC. |
