Learning outcomes of course unit

Memorization:

basic concepts and basic concepts of game theory; classification of games; functions of game theory; mixed strategies in game theory; classification of strategic moves; basic theorems of game theory; concepts of evolutionary games; negotiation strategies; bidding strategies and auction structure

Understanding:

modern terminology of game theory in business; decision-making in conflict conditions, features; approaches to the analysis of strategic games; principles of classification of strategic moves; evolutionary scenarios; voting rules and procedures; bidding strategies and auction structure.

Application of knowledge (skills):

classify game situations and formulate goals and strategies of players; apply skills in using methods to find optimal strategies; build a game model that meets the problem being studied and analyze the simulation results; to develop skills in searching for optimal methods for solving different classes of problems in the field of game theory.

Analysis:

information that players possess and its use to solve problems; game learning strategies; behavior in the game as the number of players increases; order of actions in the game; best answers for games with different numbers of participants; equilibria in pure strategies; Nash equilibrium concepts; games with sequential moves in a strategic form.

Evaluation:

Availability of repetitive information among game participants; behavior in a game with an increased number of players; the best answers from the game participants; equilibrium in pure strategies; empirical data on the Nash equilibrium; games with simultaneous moves using the game tree; a game consisting of successive moves in strategic forms; creating strategies to unlock three purer strategies in one game; typical situations, signals and screening.

Creation:

Proposals for the possibility of increasing the efficiency of decision-making in conditions of conflict of interests when making management decisions by managers and specialists of maritime and inland waterway transport enterprises.
