Learning outcomes of course unit | Know: - the main trends in the development of shipboard automatic control systems of shipboard power plants; - the structure and algorithms of the interaction of ship’s power plant automation means - optimal management of diesel generators parallel operation. Functions and mechanism of auxiliary mechanisms automatic control - the purpose and main functions of remote automatic control systems; - completeness and conditions of safe operation of the ship's power plant and electricity distribution system; - systems of ship engines centralized control Be able: - to navigate in the literature devoted to various types of ship automated control systems and their further development; - to recognize a sign of malfunction in the ship's automated energy system; - choose the search and troubleshooting algorithm; - optimal management of diesel generators parallel operation. Functions and mechanism of auxiliary mechanisms automatic control - to ensure the operation of the automated ship power plant in the most economical mode. |
