Students must know the principles of scientific and experimental research performing in particular:

- classification of scientific research methods and techniques ;

- the structure of scientific and research works (RW);

- the methodology of RW theoretical substantiation;

- scientist's ethics;

- basic methods and experimental research methods ;

- the structure of research ;

- theoretical justification of experimental work;

- principles of processing the experiment results

Students must be able to carry out the scientific research, which includes, in particular:

- selection of relevant topics of research work ;

- to research modern literary sources;

- planning of research work;

- to carry out scientific research;

- to document the results of research work;

- to create a personal research process card;

- to form and publish scientific results and work conclusions.

- to choose modern measuring equipment;

- to process and smooth experimental data;

-  to plan the experiment taking into account the minimization of variables and errors of the results;

- to form and present the results and conclusions of the work experimental part.
