  • Knowledge of the structure, composition and modes of operation of the main types of modern ship electrical power systems.
  • Knowledge of technical characteristics, parameters and design features of control systems and automation means that ensure quality and energy saving in ship power systems.
  • Knowledge of automation means functioning algorithms that ensure quality and energy saving in ship power systems.
  • The ability to measure and analyze main parameters of electrical energy quality with the help of modern analogue and digital device.
  • The ability to conduct researches and draw conclusions about electrical energy quality with the help of computer programme.
  • The ability to model static and dynamic processes in order to evaluate the electricity quality.
  • The ability to carry out energy-saving measures depending on operating modes of ship electrical power systems.
