Know:

- typical functional elements of automatic control systems( ACS), definition and purpose, basic requirements for ACS elements, control principles: deviation, perturbation, combined, software, functional ACS schemes that implement control principles;

- know the characteristics of control systems: static, dynamic, frequency and typical input signals: step and pulse function, transition and pulse characteristics;

- know the typical elements of automation systems, the characteristics of proportional, integrating and differentiating links, the scheme implementation of standard linear regulators: P, I, PI, PID;

- know typical automation objects: First-Order inertial link, aperiodic, vibrational, conservative, vibrational conditions and transient and frequency characteristics of typical links;

- know static and astatic automatic control systems, features of applying proportional and integral control law;

Be able to:

- classify ACS: by the physical nature of the signal, by the type of actuator, by the law of control, by purpose, by structure, multi-level ACS, control levels: executive, tactical, strategic;

- correct the properties of systems using feedbacks;

- implement regulators on hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical elements.
