| Learning outcomes of course unit | Students gain knowledge and understanding of: - basics of ship repair organization; - basics of repair technology of piston engines, turbines, steam boilers, ship devices and auxiliary mechanisms; - the assembly of ship technical means (STM), alignment and adjustment technologies, shaft installation means; - content and procedure of acceptance - additional examinations of the vessel after factory repair. Students are able to: - carry out defect inspection of STM parts ; - make a repair list; - eliminate defects in parts and units of the STM, systems and the ship's hull. |
