- Knowledge about society, its features of development and functioning;
- Knowledge of the social structure and social stratification of society;
- Knowledge of the role of the state in the political system of society;
- Knowledge of political regimes;
- Knowledge of state power, its structure and powers of state authorities;
- Knowledge of the role of law as the main regulator of social relations in society and the state;
- Knowledge of human rights in the state;
- Knowledge of civil, family and social-labor relations in the state;
- Knowledge of the types, grounds and procedure for bringing a person to legal responsibility in the state;
- Ability to analyze processes taking place in society and objectively evaluate information;
- The ability to self-determine one's worldview positions, to form value orientations.
- The ability to use the fundamental concepts and categories of state-building in industrial and social activities to substantiate one's own worldview positions and political beliefs, taking into account the processes of the socio-political history of Ukraine, legal foundations and ethical norms, including know relevant international maritime conventions and recommendations, as well as national legislation
