  • Knowledge of the structure, composition, purpose, modes of operation, technical characteristics and design features of ship automation elements.

  • Knowledge of the methods of debugging, testing, current maintenance, diagnostics and repair of ship automation elements.
  • The ability to carry out debugging, testing, current maintenance, diagnostics and repair of ship automation elements.
  • The ability to use the methods of organizing and planning repair work, setting up, diagnosing and testing ship automation elements.
  • The ability to analyze basic, functional and assembly diagrams of technical documentation for elements of ship automation.

  • Rules for transforming complex logical functions.
  • Analysis and synthesis of devices on integrated microcircuits of small and medium degree of integration, peculiarities of their operation.

  • Search for malfunctions in automation elements and devices.
Equipment (if applicable)    Educational and research ship laboratory equipment for the study of ship automation elements, digital multimeters, ammeters, voltmeters and oscilloscopes. Special educational and research laboratory stands are used to simulate the operation of combinational devices.
