Learning outcomes of course unit
  • knowledge of the basic aspects of team formation and development dynamics, the ability to establish interpersonal relationships to achieve group goals;
  • knowledge of individual characteristics and a personality structure, adaptation issues, and integration into a group;
  • knowledge of the nature and typology of the leadership, the ability to identify main leader’s styles and apply them according to the tasks and situations;
  • knowledge of a conflict nature, conflict-free behavior rules, and the ability to analyze a conflict and apply conflicts management methods;
  • knowledge and understanding of basic management principles, the necessity of their application, and evaluating potential consequences;
  • knowledge and understanding of managerial activities specifics, management functions such as planning, motivation, organization, and control;
  • analysis of the internal and external environment of the organization in planning and organizing team activities;
  • knowledge and understanding of communication specifics in team activities, key communication barriers, and ways to eliminate them;
  • ability to justify, make, and implement managerial decisions in a team taking into consideration methods and procedures of managerial decision-making.
