basic concepts and categories of international public maritime law;

the main provisions of conventions in the field of international maritime law.

Understanding:

the laws of formation of the legal regime of certain categories of maritime areas;

content of the principles and rules of international maritime law;

functions of the seaport for receiving and leaving ships in accordance with generally accepted requirements for the safety of navigation and protection of the marine environment.

Applying:

interpretation of national and international acts on the use of maritime space and operation of ships;

collection, processing and generalization of legal material in the field of maritime activities.

Analyzing:

determination of common, special, and individual features in the development of maritime policy of states;

correlation of international law with domestic law in spaces with a mixed legal regime.

Evaluating:

compliance of the national legislation of Ukraine with the requirements of international conventions in the field of maritime activities.

Creating:

solving problematic legal situations in the field of maritime activity;

drafting of individual legal acts to regulate relations in the field of maritime activity.
