Memorization:

the structure and content of migration law, its institutions;

special legal terminology of migration law;

sources, objects and subjects of migration legal relations;

structure and sequence of administrative procedural decisions in the field of migration.

Understanding:

the purpose, principles and scope of migration law;

subject and methods of legal regulation of migration processes;

the nature and content of the main migration phenomena and processes, as well as the dynamics of migration law;

honor and dignity of man as the highest social value, understanding of their legal nature.

international human rights standards, the provisions of the Convention on protection of human rights and fundamental freedoms, as well as the practice of the European Court of Human Rights.

influence of European practices of ensuring human rights, freedoms and legitimate interests in migration law;

Migration Management in Ukraine

emigration and immigration in migration law.

Application of knowledge (skills):

operate with concepts that were learned during the study of the discipline;

to use in professional activities normative legal acts in the migration sphere;

demonstrate the necessary knowledge and understanding of the essence and content of the main legal institutions of migration law (citizenship, freedom of movement, asylum, immigration and internally displaced persons);

tasks, principles and doctrines of national law, as well as the content of legal institutions, at least in such areas of law as: constitutional law, administrative law and administrative procedural law, civil and civil procedural law and criminal law;

to realize their rights and obligations as a member of society, to realize the values of civil (free democratic) society and the need for its sustainable development, the rule of law, rights and freedoms of man and citizen in Ukraine;

use available national and international information technologies and databases in the field of migration for professional activities;

advising on legal issues, in particular, possible ways to protect the rights and interests of clients, in accordance with the requirements of professional ethics, proper compliance with the rules for non-disclosure of personal data and confidential information.

correct application of the practice of the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) and the Court of Justice (European Court of Justice) in accordance with international treaties ratified by Ukraine.
