Understanding: the essence of mediation and its importance for the professional activity of a lawyer; peculiarities of mediation in criminal, civil and commercial proceedings; correlation of legal and ethical foundations of mediation. Applying of Knowledge (Skills): the mediator's techniques in professional activities; interpretation of national and international acts on mediation. Analyzing: distinguishing between mediation and other alternative dispute resolution methods; decomposition of conflict and mediation cases. Evaluating: mediability of legal situations and prospects for the use of mediation technologies in the field of professional activity. Creating: formulation of professional tasks in the field of mediation; providing advice on mediation in various categories of cases; informing the client about the content, procedure, benefits, and consequences of mediation. |
